Our prototyping and pilot plant facilities enable us to move products, processes and technologies from the laboratory and development stage to pilot and production-scale.
Our dedicated team of scientists and engineers has extensive expertise in production process requirements and translating these into clearly-defined scale-up projects.
We have a wide range of pilot processes, from composition and forming to firing and machining. Dedicated glass laboratories with pilot scale facilities and pilot scale facilities for powder processing and prototyping are also available.
To assist with the development of products and processes related to our chief technology, Field Enhanced Sintering, we have a unique roller kiln, and other smaller development kilns, that are fully customisable. Using these we are able to run both trials and full-scale production runs.
Other facilities include a 300 anchorage strong-floor, each anchor having a 100 tonne capacity, and loading rigs with a 1,000 tonne capacity. This, together with our state-of-the-art analytical capabilities, means that we can work at the nano, micro and mega-scale – and everything in between.
Commercialisation of products and processes is what AMRICC is all about – our prototying and pilot plant facilities form the backbone of this.
