The ecosystem map reflects the breadth and diversity of organisations contributing to advanced ceramics and advanced manufacturing. Alongside ceramics specialists, it includes businesses that play an important supporting role in the wider supply chain, such as tooling manufacturers, equipment providers, materials suppliers, and research organisations.
Users can explore participating organisations through a range of searchable categories, including sector application, role within the supply chain, materials of interest, organisation size, and location. Organisations may be listed under multiple categories, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of modern manufacturing.
The initiative also supports broader efforts to demonstrate UK capability in advanced ceramics and advanced materials, helping to align existing expertise with national priorities identified through the UK's Industrial Strategy and related government frameworks.
