Autoclave – Precision Forming for Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs)


Our state-of-the-art Olmar Autoclave is designed for the precision forming of Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMCs) under controlled temperatures and pressures.

Technical Description

Capable of reaching temperatures up to 300°C and pressures of up to 14 bar, this advanced system ensures high-quality composite processing with minimal porosity.

Utilising a vacuum bagging technique with a negative pressure of -800 mbar, our autoclave enables the production of green CMC components with high fibre volume fractions and reduced inter-bundle porosity. The large chamber size (700 mm in diameter and 1400 mm in length) allows for the manufacturing of large composite parts, meeting the demands of aerospace, automotive, and high-performance engineering applications.

Equipped with 4 vacuum ports and 12 thermocouple attachments, our autoclave can simultaneously process up to four CMC components, ensuring precise temperature control and uniform curing.
